Hello and welcome to Full Farm CSA members, those considering membership, and those who just like to dream about good food. Below is an update of our weekly offerings-a snapshot in time, showing availability of the local veggies, grains and pasture raised animal products available in the Willamette Valley, Junction City Area:
Spring is here! (not really, but the weather sure is fooling me).
Regardless, this fine weather has brought with it a slough of new “tender, crisp and sweet ” organic veggie offerings from Little Wings Farm (the folks that brought us the Organic Blueberries last summer). We have now added:

Purple Sprouting Broccoli Bunches, super sweet and tender

Parsley Bunches, Italian flat leaf and very nice

Tatsoi Raab Bunches, tender, crisp and sweet
Bok Choy Raab Bunches, tender, crisp and sweet
White Salad Turnips with divinely tender greens. (This is in addition to, and different than, the Storage Turnips we’ve been getting.)
Sweetleaf has brought back Red Russian kale bunches.
This is also our last week for ordering Delicata squash, Yacon and Pie Pumpkins as well as goat cheese (at least until May-ish).
Butter is available again this week in a limited quantity, but again, please be mindful of amounts ordered.
Deck Family Farm specials of Roasters and Pork Stir Fry continue. We have both pork back fat (in 10 # packs) and leaf lard (2-3# packs) available this week. Follow this link below to find out how and why to render your own pasture raised fat-ideal for roasting, frying, baking, sauteing and, um, pretty much everything in my kitchen (well, maybe except for topping oatmeal or pancakes!).
