Wandering around the farm today I enjoyed visiting with the layers. They were happily eating, drinking, scratching and laying in the warm morning air, but it was the chamomile that made the scene. A large portion of this field is covered by pineapple chamomile "weeds" this time of year, and the chickens were beautiful as they poked through the jungle. Sometimes, all I could see was mounds of daisy-like flowers but I could hear them cooing and clucking underneath.

And, no, they don't eat the chamomile and the eggs are not affected! :)
