We've got a new wheel of cheese - the Henni-Penni Hispanico - going up on the CSA herdshare store this week.
This 10-month aged, natural-rind, semi-hard cheese is sure to please! It is pleasantly creamy and smooth. A slight sharpness accentuates its well-balanced flavors of caramel and nuts with a zip of tangy acidity.
Great for either melting or grating. Use this cheese on any hot sandwich, with pasta, or a welcome addition to any cheeseboard.
Each of our cheeses is named after one of our beloved dairy cows, in this case Henni-Penni. It’s an homage to where our milk comes from and an opportunity for you to get to know each of these wonderful ladies.
